Lee Yi-kyung Reveals He Was a Victim of Investment Fraud “500 Million Won in Debt, It’s Suffocating”

On February 27, tvN STORY’s official channel uploaded a video featuring Lee Yi-kyung.

The video is a preview of the second episode of tvN STORY’s “10 Billion Won Breakfast”.

In the released video, MC Oh Eun-young commented, “Even having just 10 million won in debt can feel heavy. The first thought that comes to mind is, ‘Can I overcome this?’ 10 billion won is an enormous amount of money.“

Lee Yi-kyung then revealed, “I currently have a 500 million won loan. It’s suffocating me.“

Oh Eun-young asked, “Why do you have 500 million won in debt? Don’t you earn well?” In response, Lee Yi-kyung opened up about a recent scam he fell victim to, “You know how people refer to con artists as ‘blowflies’?“

He continued, “I made a poor financial decision and even took out a loan. The annual interest alone is 2 million won per month it’s driving me crazy.”

Meanwhile, “10 Billion Won Breakfast” premiered on February 20 and airs every Thursday at 8 PM. The program follows successful entrepreneurs, self-made individuals and key figures in their respective fields, offering a glimpse into their lives and morning routines.
